Course Overview:

According to our latest research, an increasing number of critically ill patients are boarding our emergency departments and a certain percentage requires critical care.

And although the care of the ventilated patient is often not included within the practice of emergency nurses, the primary nurse is expected to be responsible for the ventilated patients.

Therefor all nurses working in the ER should have the knowledge of how to take care of the ventilated patients requiring critical care.

This course offer nurses a premium condensed CME accredited course focusing on the following:

  • Understanding the core principles of mechanical ventilation
  • Developing a sound comprehension of pharmacology pertaining to mechanical ventilation and initiating Lung Protective Ventilation Management in the Emergency Department
